This Privacy Policy applies to the Magic QR product website and its static web scanning tool. Magic QR is primarily used to recognize QR codes, product barcodes, and code values contained in images.

2. Information We Process

Magic QR does not require account registration and does not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, or other identity information. During scanning, your browser may locally process the camera view, selected image files, recognized result text, and recent records shown on the current page.

3. Camera and Image Files

Camera permission is requested and managed by your browser. Camera frames are used for local recognition and are not uploaded by Magic QR to a server. Image files you select are processed locally in the browser for detection, and Magic QR does not remotely store those images.

4. Results and Recent Records

Recognition results are displayed on the current page and can be copied manually. Recent records are only available within the current page session. After refreshing, closing the page, or clearing records, they are not retained as cloud history.

5. Third-Party Capabilities

Magic QR relies on browser-native capabilities such as the BarcodeDetector API, camera permission, clipboard permission, and local file selection. Supported formats, permission prompts, and security policies may vary by browser.

6. Data Sharing and Storage

Magic QR does not provide an account system, cloud sync, or remote recognition service, so it does not actively share your camera view, image files, or recognition history with third parties. If you copy results and paste them into another app or website, that subsequent use is your choice.

7. Safety Recommendations

QR codes and barcodes may contain links, text, or other content. Before opening links, submitting information, or making payments, verify that the source is trustworthy and avoid suspicious addresses or exposing sensitive information.
